Nature, Man and Maple Syrup

Process 3

Storage in climate controlled environment. We are almost completely unique. Most syrup sits in a warehouse and the temperature changes with the weather. We have a climate controlled storage facility.

Reheating the syrup for packaging. We do this in water jacket equipment which avoids direct heat. Most syrup is reheated in a pan over a propane heat source (think kitchen range, but larger). Direct heat can negatively impact taste. Our water jacket equipment heats the water in the outside jacket which gently raises the temperature of the syrup.

Filling the bottles or jugs, labeling and packing the filled containers into mother cartons.
